Bio

Miguel Macías, a native of Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas in Mexico, has a passion for fashion in the blood, but his taste for design and pursue of helping others through fashion, comes from the his inspirational influence, his grandmother, who is the base and main inspiration in his decision to pursue a BA in Textile and Fashion Design.

Miguel Macías has graduated from the University of Monterrey, in Mexico, with  a course in Shoe Design at the Art Center College of Design, in Pasadena, California.

His designs have been exhibited at the London College of Fashion, and have appeared on ELLE Magazine Mexico, Lewis Magazine, Vanity Teen, TV shows, on various fashion websites and newspapers, as well as to be photographed by the renowned photographer Mark O’Sullivan and Rikki Matsumoto.

In 2012 Miguel Macías did an internship at the prestigious and international fashion label, Marchesa, located in New York City, assisting in the department of Couture and Embroidery Design.

In 2013, Macías moved to Tel Aviv, Israel, promoting his mission and vision for the growth of his brand, MACRĒZ, leading it to international workshops and dressing international celebrities. While his clientele grew to countries like Mexico, France, Cyprus and the US.

MACRĒZ is currently established for the first time in Mexico, since January 2019.
